Fall in Winter

Leave it to good ol'Southern California to be the last place to start looking like Fall in the Winter. It's January and the leaves are finally starting to turn! Knock knock Mother Earth get with the program.. Your a few months late. But better late than never!
This is the time when walks seem a little more magical and driving to work doesn't seem as long.. Now that Summer is walking she loves the sound of the crunches they make and crumbling them altogether in her tiny hands. Gosh this little girl is amazing..

yes... yes.. I am aware I'm about a week late.. but hey, at least I'm BACK!

 

So I've been letting this whole not blogging thing get a little out of hand.. but not anymore {even though that's what I've said last year}. So! *cough cough* {I actually do have a cold ;)} here we are again with that New Years Resolutions..

 

1. SAVE! In about a year we should be able to purchase our first home! I really am going to try and buckle down on my spending.. even though that ZARA sale is VERY tempting.

 

2. PRINT MEMORIES. Lets face it, its so easy to just click away with that nifty little camera connected to the phone glues to our hands. 1,300 photos on a phone is a little obnoxious! *face to palm* Get it together Whitney!

 

3. TAKE A FAMILY TRIP. Nothing too crazy.. maybe San Diego or San Fran? Make a suggestion!

16 month update

It finally has hit me a few weeks ago that my little {if almost 9lbs at birth is considered little} baby is officially a toddler! I'm a mother to a toddler. Walking, eating, dancing, coloring, sassy toddler! From those first few steps she took 3 months ago, she has really started to develop into her own little person. Everyday she amazes me with how smart and brave she is now. So INDEPENDENT {unless its going down steps.. still working on not doing face plants}.

Summers favorite foods are now: Gold Fish, Banana shakes, and ketchup with a side of fries ;)

She loves anything disney, especially Minnie Mouse.
